AGAIN!
King Everett Maxwell McCoy had great success on his annual Hunt For The Forgotten - a yearly noble hunt where all the meat is donated to a local orphanage. This year's lucky orphans belonged to the Hoberto Orphanage in The Sink.
Where were the parents? This is a question of much debate amongst religious scholars at in The Hallow. Some of the church leaders believe the dead parents are now magically in another dimension that is much happier than ours - while others strongly believe that the other dimension is unbearably hot, but the most popularly held belief among residents of Saltport is: They're Ghosts now.
No one knows for sure what happens to us after we die, but our correspondent at the Hunt For The Forgotten did report seeing a skeleton from the museum breakout cheering on the King as he bagged a doe.
The City Guard now claims to know where the hoard of undead are coming from. The Sixth-Layer museum below the city. That's right - everyone's favorite historical museum six layers below the city. The working theory is that during construction of the museum, workers must have disturbed a pocket of nascent undead, setting them loose on Saltport.
What does this mean for the future of the museum? We reached out to members of the Daedalus Council, who built the museum, for comment and they had this to say.
"The sixth-layer museum has incredible historical significance and is a wonderfully popular tourist attraction brining people to Saltport from all over Astaevia. If we close the museum now, that means the skeletons win. And no one wants to see that happen."
MYSTERY SOUNDS COMING FROM WATERFRONT
Reports of strange and mysterious creatures arriving in Saltport aren't anything new, but no one knows what's making the recent noises overheard by the East Docks.
When the city guard was alerted to the noises from some VERY strange creatures, they investigated and have pinpointed the location of the noises to the warehouse district.
